Here at The Starship Overflow, remember there are 24hrs to fill in every day! So that's exactly what we do... and you can help us maintain that , if you want to?

We are always looking for new presentes to add to our team. We currently have an amazing line-up of jocks, but would still like a few more to join us.

As long as your music taste fits with our format below...

Indie - Spacerock - Prog - Stoner - Psych - Punk - Blues - New Wave - Ska - Reggae - Dub - Rock - Goth - Industrial - Electronic - Experimental - Festival Oddities & More.

We welcome experienced presenters, though you dont particularly need any experience to put a show together.

What you do need, is a clear speaking voice, a laptop & mic and the ability to edit a 1hr mp3 file together.

Really quite a simple task, as long as you have some music editing software. Wavepad (From NCH) is FREE and user friendly. You dont need to pay out for any of the expensive software, as this will do the job perfectly every time. (Audacity is also popular with some).

On to more technical issues... Our main man here is Techy Andy, who specialises on the pc side. But we could also use an electronics genius, for repairs of older equipment.

We like to make radio the old fashioned way. Personally, records tapes CD's Minidiscs & even reel to reel machines are my thing. So we have stacks of Denon & Tascam equipment, which will need either maintaining or repairinng. We have a source for some replacement parts.

Whatever we do here, we have a laugh doing it. Life is too short, so why not jump on The Starship Overflow and see where it takes you? You have nothing to lose but your sanity! 🙃
